Introductory Pastel Workshop: Soft & Oil Pastels :
Discover the vibrant and versatile world of pastels—a unique medium that bridges the gap between drawing and painting. This course is the perfect starting point for beginners, introducing you to both velvety soft (chalk) pastels and rich, buttery oil pastels. You will master fundamental techniques for each medium, including blending, layering, scumbling, and creating dynamic texture through methods like sgraffito. Drawing and Painting Combo:
In this fun and creative class, students will explore drawing and painting through a variety of projects using pencils, pastels, watercolor, and acrylics and oils. They'll build skills in observation, color mixing, and composition while expressing their own artistic style. Each lesson balances technical instruction with imaginative projects, helping young artists grow in confidence and creativity!

MULTI-MEDIA COLLAGE ADVENTURE
Discover your imagination and explore the incredible world of collage! In this dynamic one-hour class, we'll focus on the Elements of Art and Principles of Design and learn the best mixed-media techniques. We'll experiment with a huge variety of materials, including colorful recycled paper, paint chips, fabric, and natural/found objects for 3D texture. Explore fun concepts such as Color Schemes, Narrative or Storytelling, Visual texture, and creating a focal point. Get ready to create unique projects, including decorative boxes, notecards, and art journals. You'll explore Surrealism and learn to use your own hand-painted papers, plus master the expressive power of Tearing vs. Cutting and proper Adhesive Techniques. Come ready to cut, glue, and create a masterpiece!
