​HIP HOP AND STREET STYLES DANCE (Ages 4-99)
Meet our vibrant dance instructors who have traveled the world creating and performing hip-hop! Come learn the lingo and the moves. Be inspired, tone your muscles and move your body in empowering ways! This class will perform at our showcases and beyond!​

DANCE SAMPLER: HIP HOP, JAZZ, LYRICAL, AND MORE (Ages 4-18)
In this class we explore the American popular forms of Ballet, Jazz, Hiphop, Breakdance, and Contemporary dance that encompass the styles needed for the working actor and music artist. All the styles seen in films, music videos, musical theatre, and commercials use these styles daily. We will learn the foundations for many of these styles and each student will be able to pull these skills out of their pockets for any audition or role they might encounter in the future. This class also has an emphasis in encouraging being able to create choreography and freestyle from moves and styles they enjoy along the way!

TAP DANCE (Ages 4-18)
Music is Math and with this class you will be able to speak a language with your feet as the instrument! Blackbird breaks it down in bite sized pieces to give students the building blocks to create their own voices with just a toe and a heel. With a little history in jazz music and a lot of soul, swing, and pop influences, students will not only get a good history of music, but also rhythms that they can incorporate into musicianship, and other genres. WORLD DANCE SAMPLER (Ages 4-99)
Take a trip around the world with dance styles from each continent. Learn about regions of the world through dance and music including Pan-African, Bollywood, Ballet, Flamenco, Jazz, Tap, Latin, Native American, Polynesian, Yoga, and more. Let’s play with the rhythms in all of our hearts and see what unites us as we connect with places across the globe!
