Teaching with Encore since July 2024
EAGLE ALEX NIELEBECK (Drums, Guitar) Alex was drawn to music, more specifically drums, at the age of 6 years old. His house had a small toy drum set that he would hit and make noise on. He was specifically drawn to the band Foo Fighters and the way Dave Grohl played the drums on the album “The Colour and the Shape”. By the age of 10, he was playing to “Everlong” and other hit songs. Alex learned how to drum from playing along with rock albums. He has taken various informal lessons since then to master his craft. After years of playing along to tracks and singing, he decided to try his hand at writing and recording, which is what drew him to guitar at age 14. As fun as it was to play other people’s music, writing was what made Alex fall in love with music and decide it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He now plays drums and guitar in a local band called “Neptune Moon”. Check the availability for another instructor here.
