Audition Information
Season Auditions: November 15-17, 2024 - by Appointment (see signup below)
We will host a smaller audition prior to each show's rehearsals (dates to be announced).
Priority for larger roles will be given during this first round of auditions.
Audition Requirements
-Submit the Audition Form (Click the button below!)
-Prepare a one minute monologue
-Sing a solo of your choice, with karaoke backing track
-Performers will also be asked to do a short cold read at the audition.
We will reach out to confirm your assigned audition time.
Rehearsals
Monday and Tuesday evenings, beginning 8 weeks prior to each show.
Descendants and Shrek rehearse at Encore Meridian.
Beautiful and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang rehearse at Encore Eagle.
Tech/dress rehearsals and performances will be held at the Jewett Auditorium.
Training
There is no cost to audition this year, but a non-refundable $35 tuition deposit per show will be due upon acceptance of offered parts.
Actors will learn a TON with over 48 hours of instruction.
Ensemble members as well as leads will be heavily involved each meeting.
Training sessions will be split by age groups and experience levels, as well as by scene groups.
Advancing acting students will have the opportunity to act alongside experienced actors of all ages and alongside various Encore music and theatre instructors.
Considering the amount of class hours, the entire package is valued at $960, but offered at only $495 per show.
Trade opportunities are available to help toward the package cost (ask for info!).

Private Lessons can be booked weekly or in single sessions to prepare you for auditions or just help you learn to do your thing better and better!
Ongoing classes help hone specific skills in smaller group settings.
