As a homeschooling mom of six, Christy is a committed lover of lifelong learning alongside her children, who span kindergarten to college. She strives to cultivate and encourage continual exploration and creative curiosity in the hearts of others.

Christy has always found ways to carve out time to explore her creativity and imagination. This is essential for her wellbeing and brings balance to marriage and motherhood. Always open to developing new ways of expression in her adult life, Christy has explored makeup artistry, special effects makeup, watercolor painting, belly dancing, pottery, sculpture, studio glass art, jewelry design, playing cello, leatherwork, martial arts and landscape design.

Christy is thrilled to be on Encore Creative Center’s team. Creativity, connection and community are close to her heart. Naturally, she brings an ample serving of each to Encore’s table.
