It's an indoor-outdoor collaborative event, full of hands on workshops, artisan booths, and live entertainment and education -- free for the community to attend.
Sponsored by Encore Creative Center in collaboration with many of Treasure Valley's finest artists, performers, and educators, this family-friendly event will be packed with beautiful work, people to meet, and things to do all evening. Please fill out the application form by May 1 to participate as a seller or apply to present a workshop, show, or concert.
SELLERS
If accepted, sellers/vendors with a table will need to pay the booth fee of $45 by May 15 (early bird fee $35 if paid by April 25) in order to secure their spot. If accepted, you will be notified within a week of your application. Sellers are required to bring their own table(s) and chair(s) and, if placed outside, a canopy with weights.
PERFORMERS
We will have a main "stage" plus smaller presentation areas throughout the beautiful depot grounds, for a full lineup of shows and workshop choices. Musicians are responsible for bringing all of their equipment, including sound amplification, and must comply with city sound amplification limits. We will have a basic microphone setup for speakers and presenters. There is no cost nor compensation to offer a concert or workshop; however, competition is high! If selected to perform, speak, or teach, you will receive a free booth space for the duration of the event, and you are allowed to collect tips. (You are not allowed to require payment for your workshops.) You will be notified by May 6 if you are accepted.
This is a family-friendly indoor-outdoor community event! One thing that makes the event unique is how networking is facilitated for vendors and presenters, not just attendees. While this is an event the community will be able to enjoy for free, we are here to form connections with fellow participants through a vibe-setting speed-meet to kick off the rave, plus collaboration will be encouraged throughout the evening. We believe in cross-collaboration across the arts, and this event will be nothing short of exponentializing that goal.
