Emily Manwell Flute, Piano Emily Manwell is a dedicated music instructor specializing in piano and flute, committed to helping students develop both technical skill and a lifelong love of music. A dual major in Music and Cellular and Molecular Biology at Boise State University, she brings a strong foundation in music theory, performance, and pedagogy to every lesson. Her training includes solo performance, ensemble work, and years of formal study on both instruments. As a teacher, Emily believes that music education should be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. She emphasizes proper technique, musical expression, and confidence-building while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity. Lessons are designed to balance discipline with enjoyment, helping students progress steadily while staying motivated. In addition to teaching, Emily continues to actively perform and pursue advanced musical study, allowing her to bring fresh insight and enthusiasm into the studio. Whether working with beginners or more advanced musicians, she is passionate about guiding students toward meaningful growth and personal expression through music. See others on staff here.
