Teaching with Encore starting December 2024
EAGLE, S MERIDIAN JASON RIPPETOE (Magic) Jason has been interested in magic since he was young, but it was a parks and rec magic class when he was 13 that opened the door into a world of secrets and wonder. He has practiced magic as a hobby ever since. During high school, Jason was interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education and after working in pre-schools and with special needs children, life took him in a different direction. He continued to volunteer in youth programs and outreach programs to children, and even spent a year teaching conversational English to middle school students in Thailand. In homeschool co-ops he has taught a wide variety of subjects, including literature, economics, and filmmaking. Jason loves working with kids, loves teaching, and loves magic, so he is excited to bring this classic, fun performing art to Encore Creative Center. Join Jason for a magical experience as we draw back the curtain to see what makes the amazement work and how you can learn the traits of a true magician and become the best you that you can be!
