With Encore since Spring 2026
Jessica Gaines Violin, Guitar Jessi has been playing the violin for over 13 years, first picking up the instrument in elementary school and quickly falling in love with music. She continued throughout high school and was accepted into the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho, an accomplishment she still holds close. While she ultimately chose a different path, those experiences continue to shape her passion for music today. Since beginning private lessons in May 2024, Jessi has been expanding, evolving, and enriching her teaching style. She works with students of all ages and levels, focusing on helping each student not only improve, but truly enjoy the process of learning music. At the heart of her teaching is a simple belief: music should bring joy. Jessi strives to create a space where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and proud of their progress. Her philosophy is patience over pressure. She understands that every student learns differently and is committed to meeting them where they are, helping them grow with confidence. There is no pace but their own, with just a touch of fun challenge. Outside of teaching, Jessi enjoys playing classical guitar, reading, writing, and exploring new places. She is currently in college working toward her goal of becoming a pediatric physical therapist, carrying that same care and attentiveness into her work with each student. See other instructors here.
