Teaching at Encore since April 2025
S MERIDIAN KRISTEN MAYER (Voice, Piano, Choir, Theatre) As a youth, Kristen studied piano, voice, played in the band, and sang in all the choirs, but what really put a sparkle in her eyes was musical theater. She even auditioned for the hit show "Glee!" (but lost to Alyson Stroker who is now a Tony award-winning Broadway star!). As a college grad, she taught voice and piano at Newsong School of Fine Arts in Huntsville, Alabama. And now, Kristen is excited to be a part of the Encore team, surrounded by people with a sparkle in their eye, encouraging and developing the talents and skills of our community's future musical stars!
