Beat Making (ages 16-99)
Tuesdays at Eagle, 7:30-9:00pm
Instructor Dylan Olson
In this course you will learn the fundamentals of electronic music production as it pertains to beat making. We will cover genres such as lofi, chill step, and hip hop, as well as blending genres together! The knowledge in this class will be applicable to all software and DAWs, and you will also learn music composition and arrangement as it is used in producing electronic music. If you have wanted to build a home studio for yourself and make beats, then this class will give you the tools and knowledge to build on and discover your own voice as a producer.
Drawing Explorations (ages 10-18)
Thursdays at Meridian, 11:00am-12:30pm

This class offers a sampling of several art mediums for young learners to grow and experiment uniquely through pencil, pen and ink, color pencils, oil and chalk pastels. Students will learn color theory, drawing techniques, value, shading, and scale through various fun projects!
Home Economics (ages 7-12)
Thursdays at Meridian, 1:00-2:00pm

Spend time learning a new skill each week! Topics include: basics of mending clothes or stuffed toys, nutrition, healthy snacks, organizing, time management, and goal setting.
Wildcraft Art: Nature Creations (ages 5-9)
Thursdays at Eagle, 4:30-5:30pm
Instructor Carrie Walker
In Wildcraft Art: Nature Creations, students will immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world, using found and purchased materials to create unique art pieces. They will learn skills such as understanding color and texture, and employing various crafting techniques, including weaving, collage, sculpture and jewelry making. Each class will involve hands-on projects that encourage creativity and exploration, allowing students to transform leaves, flowers, twigs, and other organic elements into stunning works of art. By the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of nature-inspired creations and a deeper appreciation for the artistry inherent in the environment around them.
