Fall 2022 Showcase PROGRAM
12/19/22
Welcome!
Thank you for being here this evening!
We're delighted to share just a few results of our 16-week Fall season full of learning and laughter, joy and excellence. At Encore, we stand for acceptance and enabling, striving for serious skill development in every student we work with. Our team of 25 instructors promotes individuality and teamwork, believing in every person as an innately-gifted artist, creator, and/or performer.
It's not just words. Today's showcase encapsulates a bit of this beautiful diversity in a mere few hours. You will see solo performers from a few of our private music students, theatre shows put on by ages 5-adults, music ensembles (many brand-new this season!), and film premieres. Don't miss the student art gallery out in the lobby as well! Many of our performers are acting or playing for an audience for the first time today, and a few will be in their some-hundredth performance. Each has a voice and a vision to bring to the stage!
Putting on a show with this many facets takes a team. We want to say a special thank you to all the parents who helped with props and costumes, the tech crew here at the Nampa Civic Center, and the hours outside of classes that our instructors spent crafting and organizing their many pieces of the show. Megan is our backstage manager today -- much gratitude for her making it a FUN place to be! A special thank you as well to Bailee, Lindsey, and North, those faces you usually see smiling from the other side of the front desks -- tonight you might not see them as much, as they are our trusty backstage crew keeping the show rolling behind the scenes.
We want to thank our student families for your faithfulness in attending classes and lessons, for your value of what creativity means for this generation, and for making time today to be fully present with us amidst the craziness that the week before Christmas can mean!
Please note! We welcome photos and videos throughout the evening, but please do not use flash. As you post, tag us on FB/IG with #encorecreativecenter. After each ensemble or theatre show's final applause, the group will return or remain on stage for a quick group photo, so be ready for the quick op!
And now... enjoy a few photos here below from our Encore family fun times this semester. Then scroll on for the lineup of this evening's show! It's going to be a full, rich evening and we invite you to stay for as much of it as you are able!
Today we can only manage to share a small slice of our joy and learning this past Fall season. We are excited to have you here, and we trust the music and creativity will fill you with a sense of peace and purpose. Another equally- (or surpassingly-) inspiring season awaits us to start in January and we invite you to join us at our centers, where the passion lives. Please stop by our table in the lobby for some fun Encore merch, freebies, and insiders' info on our winter-spring season.
Let's break all the legs, heal all the hearts, and all be stars today.
