Loisann’s yoga journey began in the late 1990s, when she discovered the book Power Yoga. In 2000, she enrolled in a yoga course offered at her college. She was instantly hooked. Five years later, she completed her 200-hour yoga certification at Inner Vision Yoga in Chandler, AZ. Since then, Loisann has had the privilege of teaching a variety of yoga courses to students of all ages, including Kids Yoga, Mommy & Me Yoga, All Levels Yoga, Flow, Yogalates, and Gentle Yoga classes. Her favorite style of yoga to practice and teach is Vinyasa: moving through a sequence of asanas (postures) and linking the poses to the breath. She believes that yoga isn’t merely a form of exercise—as important as that may be—, but a way to practice being fully in the present moment.
