MICHAEL SIMON (Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Bass, Piano, Rock) Michael is a professional musician, music educator, and live sound engineer, currently residing in Boise, ID. Born in Boise, he was raised in Nashville, TN. He started guitar lessons at age 13, which continued through high school where he joined his first band and played in clubs around town. It was then that he realized he wanted to pursue music as a profession. He studied Music Technology at Nashville Tech, and Music Composition at Boise State University, and has been a professional music educator for the last 10 years and professional musician off and on for the last 22 years. In the years prior to the pandemic, his band toured extensively throughout Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. His band has been featured on KEXP, Seattle's premier radio station, and has received accolades from American Standard Time, the prominent American Roots music blog and tastemaker. He is currently working on new, original music as a bandleader, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. |
